ProBuild Purchases Tennessee-based Crosslin Supply

Denver, CO (July 2, 2007) – ProBuild Holdings, the nation’s largest supplier of building materials to professional contractors, announced today that it has purchased the assets of Crosslin Supply Company, a distributor of lumber, millwork and building products operating in the greater Nashville, Tennessee market. Terms of the sale have not been disclosed.

Crosslin, with facilities located in Franklin, Spring Hill and Smyrna, Tennessee, is a long-standing family-owned and operated business that was founded in 1933. The company is well known by their customers not only for their service, but also for having one of Tennessee’s largest hardware and building materials centers.

“The team at Crosslin Supply will be a great addition to our existing team in the Nashville area,” said Buddy Ables, president, ProBuild East Region. “Nationally, Nashville ranks in the top 20 markets with respect to permit activity. This acquisition will allow us to better serve our new and existing customers by expanding our network of facilities and products.” Ables also added, “Our combined companies can now cover this very strategic market thoroughly, and we’re excited to be expanding our base of operations through this acquisition.”

Eddie Crosslin and Greg Davis will remain in General Management roles responsible for Smyrna and Franklin operations respectively.
