ProBuild Purchases Florida-based Dunn Lumber

Denver, CO (June 4th, 2007) – ProBuild Holdings, the nation’s largest supplier of building materials to professional contractors, announced today that it has purchased the assets of The Dunn Corporation, a distributor of lumber, millwork, building products and Overhead Door Company systems located in Central and East Coast Florida. Terms of the sale have not been disclosed.

Headquartered in Daytona Beach with facilities in Daytona Beach, Orlando, New Smyrna Beach, Orange City and Bunnell, Dunn Lumber is a long standing Daytona-region business that has benefited from 103 years of Dunn family ownership. Founded in 1905, Dunn is well known by builders for their service, innovation and diverse product lines throughout east central and coastal Florida.

“Dunn Lumber is a very well-known company in our industry,” said Buddy Ables, president, ProBuild East Region. “This acquisition allows us to benefit from their intimate knowledge of the market, their experience with Overhead Door Company product lines, and their use of innovative technologies. Combined with our other Central Florida operations, they create a network that spans the center of Florida from the Atlantic to the Gulf,” Ables also added, “It’s a great time to join forces with such a well-respected team and we look forward to being the supplier of choice to professional builders throughout the Daytona region.”

Sam and Barry Dunn will remain engaged as consultants to ProBuild for two years to insure a smooth transition. Current Dunn executives Gary Farber and Ron Cannon will oversee and provide support to all Orlando area and Daytona Beach area operations respectively.

Raymond James acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Dunn Lumber in this transaction.
