ProBuild Acquires Jasper Lumber Company
Company adds more Atlanta locations to recently announced HD Supply’s LBM Acquisition

Denver, CO (February 5, 2008) – ProBuild Holdings, the nation’s largest supplier of building materials to professional contractors, announced today that it has finalized the purchase of North Atlanta – based Jasper Lumber Company. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

The Jasper purchase follows closely on the heels of ProBuild’s acquisition of HD Supply’s Lumber and Building Material business which operates as Williams Brothers Lumber in Atlanta. The combination of both acquisitions position ProBuild as the preeminent player in the #2 market in the nation in terms of building permits.

Jasper Lumber is comprised of a lumber yard, truss and millwork manufacturing facility located in Kennesaw and a lumber distribution business located in Cumming. Both facilities have built a solid reputation for having strong management and exceptional service to area builders and contractors.
